4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

When I get up, the first thing I do is to go into the spare room, which overlooks the back garden, to check on the girls in their run. I can usually see them scratching around, doing chickeny things.

 

This morning, I looked out as usual. No sign of any chickens. I stood and watched for a while, but still nothing.

 

With my heart in my mouth, I ran downstairs and outside and then.......they all came running! Phew!!!!!! They had all been happily destroying the straw bale, which is tucked in the back corner.

 

I was sooooooooo relieved.

Whew .

 

I get moments like that .... I look out of the kitchen window and can only see one or two and panic that one's escaped. I just have to open the kitchen door and they'll all come hurtling from wherever they've been hiding .
