keyhole kate
Hi All Having had my girls for a couple of weeks in my small garden I got fed up moving there and run around the lawn every two days (lawn decimation on a grand scale) So yesterday I decided to dig up and clear my largest strangly enough Eglu and run shaped mature herbatious border for the girls sole exclusivity! apart from the fact it was probably the hottest day of the year so far! this tremenous task took well into the evening especially with the girls trying to help ( How I didnt hit one with a fork or spade I will never know!! OH and Son made themselves suddenly scarce finding work to do on Son's Motorbike! It is now completed and I am thrilled!!! still needs some tidying and I am planning to edge it with Deck boards to try and keep the flying wood chip/bark in. OH & Son appearing when complete remarked how my once lovely garden resembled a cross between the Somme and roadworks refering to the Orange Safety netting you see at road works I use to let the girls free range lawn but presevre my remaining border now full of droopy plants from the transfer. One of my elder daughters cannot believe I would have chickens in my once prestigious garden especially as she wasn't even allowed to kick a football for fear of plant damage. Thus demonstating Chickens are much more addictive than Children less trouble and a whole lot Cheaper!!! ! eggbrown! ! eggbrown! ! eggbrown! in a Me Chicken Addict Himself 2 Terrified Cats Tetley & Beanie 4 children 3 having flown the coop 1 left to go.
