Pin_n_Patch
Hi, We have 2 GPs, Pip and Patch who are about 2 and 1 years old, both female. Patch was bough last year to replace Pip's first friend and there were no problems. We now have a new arrival (Poppy) and the older two are bullying her. It is mostly the older Pip who is nipping her and chasing her around. We have put her in a seperate cage next to the Eglu so they can see each other. The new one is happy and wants to make friends but every time we put her in the Eglu the elder chases and nips her. Does anyone have any suggestions as my daughter is quite upset Thanks
BooBoo
Hello - welcome to the forum! I think you should try and introduce them on neutral territory - at the moment the new g-pig is entering the exiting g-pig's home and they don't like it! You could try bringing them all indoors and let them get to know each other somewhere new to them all (e.g the kitchen floor). I'm sure there will be other people on the forum with ideas and experiences - let us know how you get on.
Cazz
i agree with neutral area. also you could try a new bed, when i introduced my new pig i had to buy a new little bed as one of them was sleeping ontop of the current bed after being kicked out!
