deag
Please advise me. For about a week or so, Kiev's comb, around the eyes and wattle are very pale, unless she is eating a worm or two. She also hasn't laid in this time and used to be very regular. She seems a bit lathargic, but apart from the above she looks and feels in good shape. I await your eggspert advice. Hen Watch
It might be worth worming them all as a precaution. I didn't worm mine when they arrived from Omlet. After I'd had them for 10 months and reading others advice on this forum I thought I should just do it anyway as a precaution. So I did in February this year. Then this week after 4 months, I thought I'd do it again. So I've just finished a second round of Flubenvet and I've now noticed dead worms in their poo and I swear I've never seen them before so I'm glad I did it. The egg laying had reduced too and now it's going back up again.
chelsea
yup, i would also suggest worming if you havent done already. Also maybe do a mini health check - check for any lice/mites etc, just give her the once over. Avipro is a very good pick me up. hope she picks up soon. Egluntyne
Sounds like worms to me too. Flubenvet (available online) is a good all round wormer, and there is no egg withdrawal period.
