kellygreaseball Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 We got our 3 new battery hens 4 weeks ago... They've been together for 3 weeks now and they are still not getting on! They are being bullied and getting wounds... They have started trying to stay up in the nesting box all day and im getting worried as they only come down for food then go up again. I would put out several food and drink stations out so that they are not prevented from eating. Why not spray them with Ukadex or some other anti peck spray. Another idea would be to put bumpabits on the bullies, and leave them on for a good while. That will give the new girls time to build up their strength and stand up for themselves.
