wombatally
Hi I have just posted a message about my sneezy chickens and after reading about other similar cases I need some citradel. It got me thinking about other things that I should be keeping in the cupboard 'just in case' as it can take a few days for things to arrive. Any suggestions? Many Thanks Alison
chelsea
purple spray (ideal for minor pecks, grazes and cuts - also acts as an antiseptic). Tea trea oil (ideal for bathing cuts/pecks etc diluted with water) Rescue remedy (ideal for shock - say for example after a fox attack) Arnica (for injuries) Vetinerary wound powder (again for cuts/wounds - powder form) Vaseline (ideal for scaly leg mite) Avipro (a fabulous probiotic "pick me up product" full of vitamins, bacteria and enzymes available online or from your vet) of course you dont have to have all or any of the above, I collect things as and when i need them so over time a big box of miscellanous items have built up over time.
