Chicken on a mission
I know where you are comming from on that one Helen. I had 4 old mini's (not at the same time) when I was younger and was always getting pulled. Not that I minded, it made for a good story and as discussed, I do have a thing for the uniform Anyway it's all sorted out now. No fine any more and the lady at the police station was wonderful and took time to chat to Esme so Esme came out of the station saying 'I love policemen mummy' which I could hear raised a chuckle behind me! Popcorn
Thalia that is good news. I'm so pleased you didn't just pay up and accept the fine without questioning it. Too many of us do that these days It was worth going to see them regardless of the fine anyway, as he had got his information wrong hadn't he. Good for you! Paola
I know where you are comming from on that one Helen. I had 4 old mini's (not at the same time) when I was younger and was always getting pulled. Not that I minded, it made for a good story and as discussed, I do have a thing for the uniform When I started driving I had a mini also. I got stopped once late coming over Chelsea bridge (with drunken occupants onboard!) in London because somebody matching my description was doing handbrake turns in their mini on the bridge earlier in the evening (a bit of a tall story I think!). My mini was road legal but certainly not up to doing handbrake turns
