Am I asking for trouble introducing a smaller Araucana to the flock? I'd get the Araucana together with the 2 hybrids from the same breeder but I have read a few posts that they are bottom of the order because of their size. Also - very daft question The breeder said that the hybrids are POL and I can take the Araucana but she's off heat so won't lay for a few weeks - what does she mean by off heat?! Egluntyne Posted June 19, 2008 Share Posted June 19, 2008 "Off heat" means they have recently come out of the brooder, so she could be as young as young as 8 weeks and might be as old as 18 weeks.
