muddy Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Hi all, just found the site as i'm looking for advise, The squirrels come in the chicken run and eat the corn and mash with the chickens which was cute, and iv seen them steal eggs which i didnt realy mind but now i thing thay have eaten four ov my baby chicks as they just vanished. any ideas ? Adams Egg Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 It is true sadly, the grey squirrel is a known predator, not adverse to raiding nest boxes and stealing fledglings. They have been likened to rats with a bushy tail and will cause damage. Don't forget that they will bring diseases with the from where ever they have been foraging.
