sadgit
Yup me again, sorry I have apllied Tesco Lawn Feed Weed and Mosskiller 2 weeks ago and now I am wondering how long do I have to keep my girls off the grass? Shock horror I never even thought of them until after I applied it (wish I hadn't now ) it has been fully watered in and the grass cut twice and says don't use the clipping for mulch until it has been cut 4 times. I called their customer service and well they weren't much help Cheers (again) Sadgit.
chucknette
Hi My chickens escaped from my garden into a neighbours who had put down feed and weed the day before. He said they had pecked at it but then went off to the hedges to eat the grass he hadnt put weed and feed on. Im not sure they would eat it if it tasted awful. I worried about the eggs but my OH said he would eat them and he is fine to this day and the chooks were also fine. If your still not sure you could keep them off the lawn just for a bit longer. Hope this helps
Stevie
Almost all the granular feed, weed & mosskillers are pet friendly so wont pose a threat to your chooks.
