Hello All

DH is complaining, sharing his opinion ;0 saying surely the roosting bars should last longer than this? Write to then he says, its disgraceful!!! Obviously not fit for purpose!!! Hmmmmm

One of them has a crack in it, we bought our cube in March & i seem to remember the hairline crack was there then but wood being wood i didn't pay too much attention as i was just sooooooo excited!!

Please how long should they last & what is the warranty guarantee when we purchase our cube etc

Many Thanks

The simplest solution is to squeeze a little woodworkers PVA glue or even 'no more nails' into the crack. This will seal it up forever and is completely harmless to chooks.

The problem with wood is that its a natural product and flaws inside it often dont get picked up at the factory when its being machined. Also, wood expands & contracts due to temperature which again dont help any flaws.
