mrs chook Posted July 6, 2008 Share Posted July 6, 2008 Wow After getting my girls and going thru the rollercoaster of euphoria and panic I now am the proud owner of .........a 2nd . A real find, just over half new price and local too, I can't believe my weekend. All set up now and I am shattered. The newbies were in the shed and now have a basic run and eglu to themselves in the garden. I have put Prissy and Bertha parallel to the new ones but opposite side of lawn. They saw them and clucked a little and both went 'oooooo' together which was funny. I have decided to keep young uns in for a while as they are just 15weeks and flighty and nervy so will need gradual confidence building and integration I think. We are all very happy here in chook central, bless em! The newies are called Cassie and Margot (only fools and horses and good life) Pics will follow soon as poss Would just like to add a HUGE thankyou for all your help and advice, it means alot and hopefully now all will be well.
