These are the new girlies I got last weekend. They are now 15 weeks. The Light Sussex is Cassie and the Maran Coucou (?) type girl is Margot. Can anyone tell me exactly what Margot is pls?

 

 

Pic 2, after a week of getting to see each other from across the garden (the first morning-half an hour of 'vocalness' all seems well. I have now put them alongside each other with the young uns still in the run (not clipped wings yet and they're pretty nervy !)

Your chickens look lovely. Glad the introductions are going well.

I am trying to introduce 5 new ex batts to my existing 2 ex batts and today they met face to face for the first time [through the mesh] lol

It's really nerve racking isn't it .....I worry so much about them hurting each other. Good luck anyhow.

Good luck with your intros too then. Yes it is nerve racking, but I am glad I followed advice to 'go slow'. So far so good, just the freeranging to go for at some point. The newies are so young, skittish (and quick! ) I am scared to realease them
