Eggy Bread
One of my hens lays one or two soft eggs every couple of weeks. First year I had them I had no soft eggs at all, it's only been in the second year. They have ad lib layers pellets mixed with limestone flour, not too many treats and access to grit. I also sprinke the limestone flour on porridge/sweetcorn so I know they are defiantly eating some. They have both been wormed recently but it's made no difference. Is there anything else I can do to stop her laying these softies or is it just something she will carry on doing? Thanks for your help
Egluntyne
A bit of extra Vit D might help. You can give a calcium supplement called Zolcal D with it included, or add a bit of codliver oil to the pellets. It might do the trick.
