EileenH Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 We`re expecting our two new lassies next week. My husband`s father was a smallholder and had some two dozen hens. Husband remembers that he was only eight years old when his father became very ill and eventually died. He said that when things got too much for him he would go and sit in the hen house.
