yippppeeeeeeeeeee!! first ever eglu cube winging its way to me on 20th August, complete with 4 girls :D:D

 

Am excited and petrified at the same time...

Congratulations! What colour did you choose? What chickens? Any names yet? Sorry we just like to know these things

Ordered one in green (was soo tempted by the purple one but was given The Look by my boyfriend so agreed on green!)...

 

Having 4 girls to start off with, and yes, all have names already ...

 

2 ginger rangers (Maggie and Penny)

2 Miss Pepperpots (Esme and Jemima)

 

Can't wait for them to arrive!! Just a thought tho', we've only ordered the cube itself without the run as we're making a large run to fit over the cube that can be moved around our garden so the girls get a fresh patch of ground every few days - as the run will most likely be wooden, do we need to treat it to prevent red mite?
