chelsea
"In to the Wild" ? I was watching old re-runs of Oprah yesterday and happened to come across an episode about a film Sean Penn directed and it looks really good. True story about an american young chap who cuts all ties with home, donates his life savings to charity and goes off into the Alaskan wilderness to live off the land. just wondered if anyone had seen it as I might buy it. (sounds like my kinda film)
Phonix
I havent seen it but it sounds good!
chelsea
I know! when I heard Sean Penn on Oprah I was intrigued. Chris Mccandless (the man the story is based on) was so fed up with living in a materialistic world he decided to break free.....be warned its not a happy ending though. crazygal
i've seen it too. The scenery is fantastic, and its very moving...well worth a watch if you have the time- we ended up watching it over 2 nights as it seemed very long, but I really wanted to know how it ended. I especially liked the characters he met along the way. I won't say anymore in case I spoil the story for anyone!
