madchooks Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 We're thinking of moving out eglu onto bark chips as our chickens seem to be systematically destroying our grass but unsure how this works in terms of leaving or raking up the poo? Woodchip is probably better than bark as it is less likely to harbour spoors and parasites.....and it is easier to compost.
