Tiggy Posted August 21, 2008 Share Posted August 21, 2008 my friends cockeral arrived last night, I cant wait to go round to see him, he was hatched on the farm next door but the older cockrels & hens picked on him, pecked all his tail feathers out. Now he has 3 young ladies of his own, he is just 12 months old & the girls are 10 months, Carol put him in with them last night when they were asleep and this morning she was up at the crack of dawn to take a look the girls love him to bits I will go & see him after work if its not too dark, I cannot have a cockeral too many neighbours & byelaws Carol is not going to hatch the eggs because she cannot cope with any more hens & would be unable to dispatch the boys, eating lots of eggs then!!!!
