Chicken Attack - help

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately my pup decided to investigate the girls in a slightly boisterous manner and my Light Sussex now resembles a BlackRock colourwise (I think he rolled her over in all the mud) and has no tail feathers at all. I usually free range the girls in a large area but since Wednesday (after the incident) have kept them in their cube run to keep them calm and reassure them all is well - also, I need to secure the gate a bit more before I let them out again. Do you think it would be okay to bath my Light Sussex and give her a good clean or is it too soon after the attack. Obviously I don't want to spook her out any more than necessary at this moment. I'm getting my daily eggs so it hasn't put them off laying.... any advice gratefully received. :?:
