worms - advice please

Recommended Posts

Hi

We have a poorly chicken, poor old ginger, she has been still/sleepy most of the afternoon and hunched over. As we are away this weekend I decided to seek the advice from a vet to try and get any treatmnet started and not leave our chicken sitters with a poorly chicken.

Due to her behaviour and the very runny poos he is treating for co....itus, (sorry I forgot  the name) and worms.

We have an antibiotic (which was fun with the syringe this afternoon!) and some worming granules, they are called Panacur. I have checked these on the internet and they have no indication for them working for chickens. I'm not thinking that this will ness. harm them, but will it work? Ideally if time was on our side I would be using flubenvet, but can't find anywhere to buy it off the shelf locally.

Do you think this stuff will be ok, most importantly as we are not going to be around, will it work?
