My chicken copper (2 years) hasn't laid and egg for at least a month. We haven't changed her feed also if we let her out into the garden then we will check for eggs once she has gone in. Does anyone know if this is normal behavior we have checked if she has got an egg stuck but she hasn't answers welcome

Have you wormed her recently and checked her over for lice and mites.

 

Any of these could prevent her from laying.

 

What about her diet? Is she having too many treats?

 

Why not just give her pellets and water and a bit of late afternoon free ranging for a few days and see if that makes a difference.

 

Too many treats can reduce their laying too.

Mine are laying less since coming back from the chicken sitters... don't know if it's the disruption, or the days getting a little shorter..
