Onion has a wonky tail Help!

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am new to chickens and my cream legbar, Onion, has a wonky tail.. some mornings it perky and upright and some its flopping over to one side.. it can change throughout the day too.. its very odd. I have wormed both the chickens and they seem to be doing the normal chicken things.. Any advice? I wondered if she is showing signs of stress although her droppings seem fine too...

One of my chooks also has a wonky tail (consequently called wonky!). She can hold it straight as occaisionally I've seen it look normal, but the majority of the time she holds it drooped off to one side. This is normal for her as she's done it from day one, and so I don't think anything to worry about. If onion is healthy in all other ways and hasn't sustained any injury I wouldn't worry about it.
