sandyhas3chucks
I sooooo wish I had known the following from the excellent info from Eglutine in the ref section under Egg bound!!!! When I got my ex bats chard readily available & eaten loads by the new girls... no wonder I had problems! "In addition, certain greens such as spinach, beet greens, chard contain Oxalic acid which reacts with the calcium so that it can not be absorbed." Egluntyne
Always on the lookout for anything containing oxalic acid at Egluntine Towers as it gives Him Indoors kidney stones. The associated renal colic is horrendous.
