Tobermory
Hello, we got our 2 chickens yesterday, one (Mabel) is walking about happily and eating and drinking, the other one (Myrtle) took some encouragement to come out of the eglu into the run this-morning, didn't look very happy and has now gone back into the eglu, she had a few pecks of food and no water... Hoping this is just settling-in-nerves, has anyone else had a similar experience? Tobermory
Paola
That sounds exactly what it is, she is just settling in Try not to worry Have you tried tempting her with sweetcorn or grapes in the afternoon? Tobermory
Thanks for your reply, we feel like anxious new parents! Myrtle has since ventured out and fed and had some water. She seems fine although not as confident as her friend Mabel!
