Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

Could anyone please tell me when the MkII Eglu came along? I often see adverts giving the age of the Eglu but that doesnt tell me if its likely to be a mark 1 or 2

 

Any help would be great! thanks

We got our eglu in April 2005 and it was a Mark 1 - a couple of months after that they brought out the Mark 2. I think that's right, but no doubt someone more expert will be along in a minute!

I got my Mark 2 on 13 July 2005, and it was fairly new then.

 

Don't trust the ages people say their eglus are -- sometimes I think that they date them from the day they bought them secondhand. It is easy to see whether you are looking at a Mark 1 or Mark 2: see the sticky. And don't trust them at all if they just pinch a picture from the Omlet site.
