Ain't Nobody Here
Hi Daniel, welcome to the forum . Unfortunately, I think I read on here that they're no longer making spare parts for the Mark I eglu. (I may be wrong .)
lisa33
Try calling Omlet regarding replacing the seals. I was able to get new rubber seals in May for the hatch and the door handle. They may not have any now but it's worth calling them.
Adams Egg
Have had similar problems with a Mk1 and Olmlet told me they no longer have spares or are tooled up to make them. The water gets in through the jet washing at the base of the hood. Over time at the corners the plastic on the joints gets a little worn and thin, if there are tiny air bubbles in the moulding at the edges this will allow in water. Cured it by drilling a small hole at the lowest point to allow drainage. The eggport handle on mine tends to let in some water so I have covered the entire eggport door so water won't run there, with a bit of shower curtain. Hope that helps, if you do find spare seals I would love to know Cheers
