Mrs Frugal
Strawberry Yogurt Ice Cream 8 oz strawberries 3 oz sugar 16 oz low fat natural yogurt 1 egg white (optional) Puree the strawberries with the sugar and sieve if preferred. Stir in the yogurt and put into an ice cream machine and process for 20 minutes. If you don't have an ice cream machine, put the mixture into a plastic tub in the freezer and freeze until it starts to freeze around the edges. Whisk the egg white and fold into the partly frozen ice cream then return to the freezer until frozen properly. A lovely, light ice cream. Perfect for those who are watching their cholesterol levels or calories !
