On Wednesday one of my girls laid a softie on the lawn. Apparently (my parents were here at the time) when my parents entered the garden the girls came running down the lawn and gobbled up the yolk...?

 

Anybody else had this happen? They have also eaten the shell too but the white still remains on the grass.

They do love raw egg - any softies here get gobbled up immediately. It's only a problem if they learn how to break a normal egg. I just remove any leftovers as quickly as possible.
