I was thinking about you today, and I was wondering if you and your mum have decided where you will spend the Christmas Holidays?

anyway, after much deliberation, we have settled on Paris - not too far and (relatively!) inexpensive. Mum and dad had been to Germany on their honeymoon (the day England beat them in the 1966 World Cup Final ) and I think she decided she wanted to go somewhere different, at least this first year.

 

so we will be in Eurodisney on Christmas Day, hopefully no chance to get sad! And then Versailles for a bit of culture on Boxing Day; I understand it is not widely a Bank Holiday in France.

 

Mum has had about 3 passport photos taken so far and hates them all ! They make her look old she says....And she is doing French conversation classes in preparation. I am so proud of her

France at the holiday sounds lovely. Disney is the happiest place on earth. Remember to post lost of pictures when you return.

yes, I love Disney too, I have been to Eurodisney once before and Florida twice. Mum has never been before but I am sure she will love it, the parades are just so lovely they make me cry! I will let you see some pics - but only with hats on now I have seen what you do for a living !

I always cry at the Disney Parades. And I've seen them tons (I worked at DisneyWorld Florida for 2 years. No worries, I'm sure your hair is beautiful.
