tom123
I have 2 hens in a 6x4 run and a large house but the all the room in the run gets taken up by the ladder and the feeder which hangs in the middle about 8 inches from the floor. Yesterday I thought I would try and move the feeder. So I put it on some bricks in the corner and the girls had so much more room but... After a few hours the girls had pulled most of the food out of the feeder and onto the floor! Does anyone have any tips on where to place your feeder and any pics?? Sandychick
They really do have terrible table manners don't they? mine are a messy bunch too. I have the Eglu Grub feeder on the side of the run. They do tip loads of pellets on the floor so I have put a slab under the feeder so that it's easy to sweep up. It also stops it from getting damp and mouldy on the floor. Some people use a plastic cat litter tray to catch the pellets. I thought that mine might stand on it and tip it over though.

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I have a hopper wedged up tight against the wall. Sticking things in corners stops them getting too knocked over. Anna x
