with halloween coming up, my kids love to do the pumpkins, s"Ooops, word censored!" them out and put a face on it.

can the bits the kids s"Ooops, word censored!" out, can the chickens have it?, and then when they finished with the pumpkin itself let the chickens have a dig around in it?

I give my hens marrow-cooked and squash; so I cant see there being any problems?

 

I also give mine Black sunflower seeds which they love and hulled sunflower seeds as a special "taming" treat....

 

Slugs also love Black sunflowers seeds- but it kills them! So its good if you have lots of slugs inn a chicken free zone....
