Sleeping arrangements - should I interfere or not?

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of slowly introducing my 4 ex batts to the rest of my girls and all is going well so far. There have been one or two minor skirmishes, but on the whole I have been surprised how little aggro there has been. At night, they have been sleeping separately but when I went to lock them up for the night today I found that the top chookl was snuggled up in the ex batts nesting box, and the ex batts were still up and about. I was worried that the ex batts might be too frightened to go to bed if I left the head girl where she was, so I took her out and put her in with the others as usual.Have I done the right thing, or should I leave them to sort things out themselves? Any advice gratefully received.
