chichi Posted October 22, 2008 Share Posted October 22, 2008 help. i bought the big glug so that my chickens weren't drinking dirty water all the time and now i cant get the silly girls to use it. i'm always 'showing' them with my finger and they do peck it once or twice afterwards, but then go back to the small gliug. i tried taking the small glug out but put it back when i noticed them drinking out of tiny puddles in the garden. But I just wanted to say, I often see my girls using their nice, fresh glug filled with water, and then rushing over to the nearest muddy, pooey puddle and drink like mad. I think as its easier for them to use the peanut glug they might favour that but you are quite right it gets dirty very easily.
