debbie26pet Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 as the chickens love the grass, like mine are more in the run i thought get them a roll turf to play with, well i just been b & q and they selling it of by the roll for 50p so i have soem to touch the bold patches up in garden and planty to keep the chickens happy, whilst there i topped up with bags of bark as well. helenmb Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 I remember seeing on a gardening programme a year or so ago someone who had bought a roll or two like yourself but had cut out some to fit into sturdy seed trays and gave their girls one every week alternating each week with one that had re-grown.
