hi ive just got back from a 5 hour drive hahah i no but ive got 2 lovly little 8 week old pekins (hen) it is a very good place with los of choice and the chickens where all outside but i was concerned about a few of them ... the ducks where all on this tiny run and there was lots of black ducks in this in air pen thing where all the waste fell onto the floor they seemed very crammed but over all 4* out of 5* ill post some pics 2morrow

Re eggs, not sure exactly but my pekins seem to give at least 4 eggs a week when they were young and in the summer. On the rare occasions they were not broody, that is

congratulations, i bet they are tiny, mine are and they are 10 weeks

 

are you keeping yours inside, mine are so small i am keeping them in the conservatory, and i have borrowed a light just to use at night

hi they are so small they are like a cricket ball hehhe im keeping them inside until about 13 weeks or until they look ready they are so tame for not being hand reared they are so cute ill post some pics tomorrow what colours are yours and where did you get yours??

mine are lavender and silver partridge, i am sure we had this conversation earlier today, they are from near hereford, too far for you haha

i will hope to take some photos tomorrow and we can compare babies
