sarah-w
.....but not chooks My lawn is under 3 inches of water! Soooo glad we didn't put the on there, the woodchip seems to be draining ok thankfully but it looks as though my poor girls are going to have another day confined to the run , just taken them out some warm mashed up pellets, but they are not happy-honking like a flock of geese! beach chick
Mine have finally had the brains to stay in their nice dry acrylic covered runs. they venture out every now and then, but as the wind and rain are blowing horizontally, they dont stay out for long... jools+6
our girls love this weather ! howling gales today but they are out there running round and jumping with the wind wings spread so they can "fly" and rain is a bonus for them , lot's of horrid beasties to eat blinking mad if you ask me but if they're happy ... just me that worries but if you think about it on freerange poultry farms they are left to it once they are let out in the mornings do think webbed feet would be an advantage though
