beach chick Posted November 24, 2008 Share Posted November 24, 2008 Meringue is currently on a ho"Ooops, word censored!"er bottle in a cardboard box in the laundry room. not quite sure what the problem is, she's spent most of the day standing a bit hunched up with her head stuck in a clump of plants. not eating much but I've seen her drinking. moving slowly. slightly bald around the bum... I thought perhaps she was eggbound, so brought her indoors for a warm up at about 2.30. she seems quite happy in there but there is no sign of anything yet. maybe I should try a bit of vaseline? if I put some water in for her is it ok if I keep her in there for the night? it seems really cold to put her back outside (even though I know its nice and warm inside the eglu). no other symptoms, no coughing or wheezing or runny eyes or bottom, so I am just keeping everything crossed she'll be fine by morning. any advice anyone? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

beach chick Posted November 24, 2008 Author Share Posted November 24, 2008 looked at her again just now, she seems fine - tho has pooed something rather disgustingly red looking which could possibly be semi-digested hawthorn berries (the only thing I can think of unless some dire medical condition). she actually seems fine, I wonder if she's free-loading?!!
