Olly
Woolworths (while they're still open ) were selling 'paint your own' mugs for £2.50, and larger sets with plate, cup and bowl for not much more. This year, some people are going to get personalised mugs! I'm no artist, but a mug with their name and a little motto, or a stencil or something (haven't actually tried the kit yet) should be fun. Lesley
Pistachio mentioned Oxfam - they sell new wooden toys and board games at very reasonable prices - we took some on holiday with us and it's always a good source of fabric/clothes to turn into something else if you like sewing. pistachio
you can pick up wool jumpers really cheap if they are bit damaged and stick them in washing machine at 60 degrees (how do you get a degrees mark on a computer keyboard?) and it turns into felt which you can make corsages out of.
