What makes a chicken coop easy to live with?

I love natural looking Christmas swag. Stuff like this (but swag not wreath):

 

 

but it's very expensive. I wanted a lot of it, but quite full-looking, which would set me back between £40-60 from what I've found.

 

So I went to Woolies today and found they have reduced their red berry wreaths from £7 to £3.50 AND put them in the three for the price of two offer.

 

If you clip the wire holding the wreaths together, the berries are on foot-long stems and there's about 24 per wreath.

 

So I've pulled them out and intertwined them (the stems are that wrappable metal stuff you get on fake flowers) and found that three wreaths makes about six metres of swag.

 

And now I have three bare dark willow wood wreaths upon which I can muck about with dried orange slices and pine cones.

 

Wooh!

 

Thought I'd share in case anyone else likes their Christmas red n rustic, but hates the prices of this sort of thing.

I need to look for something deep red today!

 

My usual colours are Gold and Green but I changed all the cushions to jewel colours earlier this year so now i need some burgundy colours to make a table centre.

Thanks for the tip - I couldn't find any of the ones you have but found one circular on e and lotsof candles in the right colour - I bought lots of other bits and pieces as well.

 

The Stratford store was packed - the only one which was

 

....after speaking to my Mum later I realised why - it must have been all the grandparents who had bought vouchers as presents going in and buying presents with them instead - that's what she had just done
