chickenanne Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 I think most parents would ultimately forgive and support their daughter /son through a pregnancy etc. They are often the only people in the world who will love you regardless of everything and anything you might do or say, totally unconditionally. Yes, drinking and smoking whilst pregnant is bad for the foetus. But your freind really needs to get herself to the doctor as soon as possible, and be tested. She'll - hopefully -also be given some advice re: how to have a healthy pregnancy /what her options are. Even if it's a false alarm, hopefully she will be given some advice re: contraception / safer behaviour. She may also be offered tests for STD's, which would be a good idea.
