Tiggy
I've been doing a bit of juggling with our finances and have come across a great deal with Virgin Money, O% interest on all balance transferes including overdrafts for 16 months and O% on all purchases for 9 months. I dont intend using it as a credit card because I'm trying to get all my bills down but our OD was causing us to have bank charges every month, £35 everytime they send you a letter even though our wages are paid in on the same day it makes me so mad - has anyone had any experiance of claiming back bank charges? Tessa the Duchess
Yes, I have Not overdraft charges but late payment charges on a credit card, they charged me £25 for two late payments instead of the £12 they are allowed to charge. I went to moneysavingsexpert.com and used their letter template to make a claim. They have templates for all situations, well worth doing. Good luck. Tiggy
thanks for that, my bank charge me several times a month, a letter is sent for every tranaction so the day I get paid if direct debits are due for the mortgage power & phone bill & insurance they charge me £140!!!! Oh wages often go in the day after mine, some months I get paid earlier so we dont have a prob, I have tried changing the days the direct debits go out but it dosnt seem to make any difference
