Snowy
Bless her! Although red, it doesn't look bruised or have any broken skin. I wouldn't worry about shades of red if it is even like that. One of my girls has a very bare botty, but on hers you can clearly see that it has been pecked as there are small scabs and bruises on it. Hopefully your girl will now grow some new feathers. If you think it may be sore, you can wash it with a solution of tea tree oil to soothe it.

quickcluck
We are thinking maybe mice in the cube under the roosting bars but cant find any evidence too much poo, and also how do you get rid of them??? Not looking forward to the worms do you just give them a sprinkle a day?
sandyhas3chucks
well if you want to try & work out if it IS mice, I suggest you start by cleaning out the pooh tray thoroughly. try then lining it with ONLY paper, if you put hemcore auboise or anything in normally, then dont! then every morning inspect that pooh tray! Mice will leave little black droppings like tiny weeny rugby balls. black, they may even nibble the paper. If you don't see either for a few days my guess would be NOT mice!
