mum2boys
argh! the strong winds last night blew half of the run covering off.... we then had a long heavy downpour and the easibed in the run is saturated... dh has dashed out to get more onduline/plastic sheet stuff and some bungee cords to hold it down better (one half of the run covering gets weighted down rather than fixed so we can take it off when the weather is hot)... do I.. take all the easibed out and replace or put fresh dry stuff on top of the wet and replace when all the rain has stopped? cannot decide what to do! Egluntyne
I'd do whatever seems easiest and quickest at this time of year. It doesn't look as if it will stop raining today.
mum2boys
thanks it has stopped raining here at the mo but is very very grey.... I have cleared all the wet bedding out and not put any clean dry stuff down yet... hopefully dh will fix the run roof shortly but if not then I don't need to worry too much... they have dry bedding at one end and their perches are in that end....
