bluekarin
It has been a really good egg week this week. Daisy started laying again on Wednesday and she has given us one every day all ranging about 45-50 grams! So today, after returning with YD after her swimming lesson I went to get the daily egg and what should I see? Another lovely Daisy egg and a darker brown egg ! Daisy usually just lays her eggs in the Hemcore as it is but today she must have copied Cocoa as there were two little circles in the two roosting boxes *ahh* and I think in Cocoas enthusiasm she'd booted her egg out of her little nest she'd made but it wasn't broken phew! So all 5 of us had poached eggs on potato cakes for lunch today. Yum Yum

SnowWhite
Congratulations on your 2 egg day It makes you feel smug doesn't it?! My first egg day today too! One from Astrid and a lovely brown beauty from one of the others, not sure which, because the most likely candidates for that colour would be my copper marans but they are too young. My money is on Siggy, the Babcock. I'll wait to update my signature when I'm sure. That means we have three out of eight laying although Bo seems to having a break - no one tells Bo what to do!
