Going to try to "make" Omega 3 eggs as my dad needs to keep his cholesterol down, and they are better then regular eggs for him

You might also find it referred to as linseed in the shops. I sprout mine in a bowl, along with millet, hemp, poppy, wheat, mung beans, adzuki beans, sunflower, and alfalfa for about five days. It then gets mixed into seven seed trays (for the next week) with some dry compost and some ground, baked, egg shells. One tray a day in the run, so they can scratch about and "find" the sprouting seeds. I have to confess to nibbling some of it myself! No idea whether it makes omega 3 eggs, as no eggs yet, but the girlies love it.
