Well my petsitter just told me she had the fright of her life when she arrived Xmas morning to find 9 chickens on the doorstep instead of safely tucked up in ther run. Turns out a piece of glass was broken in the bottom of the greenhouse and they had come out though there - fortunately that part of the run has a gate to it so that is now firmly shut to stop any more escapes.
