chooks and duck water advice please..............

Ive got 2 exbats that ive had for 2 weeks and this afdernoon l put them in with my 3 call ducks and 3 runner ducks.My question is the duck water its in small childs pool sitting on the ground with a wooden ramp to it for the ducks to get in.I am worried that they could drown? They seem to all get on, the reason l've moved them in together is that there run is fox proof and where they was it was not so much.I will in the end slowly put them in with the other chickens.Has any one got chooks and ducks together with water and how dose it all work ?
