Guest Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 just been to Aldi and, for anyone who's interested, they're doing 'Pata Negra' ham which says... ...The pigs are allowed to roam in pasture and oak groves to feed naturally on grass, herbs, acorns, and roots... There was no British 'outdoor reared' option but then I s'pose Aldi concentrates more on food from the rest of Europe? It wasn't cheap, £2.99 for 50g, but then the savings made elsewhere in the store may allow you to splurge!? Anyway, I thought I'd let you know.
