Chicken boarders

Hi!

 

Whenever I go to the petshop I keep getting tempted to pick up some of those hamster treats (not the chocolate or yoghurt..the ones with seeds and grains) for the chickens. Does anyone else do this and would this do them any harm? I haven't yet obviously, just wondered whether it would be safe? I have seen those but have been buying the one for parrots as they seem to be much bigger than the hampster ones and therefore last longer! Only as an occasional treat mindyou Not done any harm so far.
